Microdose protocols

What is a microdose?

A microdose is taking a very small amount of medicinal mushrooms, at a level that is less than 10% of what would constitute a standard recreational or spiritual dose. At this low level, there may be mental and physical benefits such as increased productivity, more energy and focus, increased creativity, decreased anxiety, stress, depression, etc.

A microdose does not produce an altered psychological sensation or so-called “psychedelic” effect.

Microdosing protocols

We recommend microdosing on a regular schedule, over a specific period of time and taking breaks. This is called a MICRODOSING PROTOCOLS.  Here are some famous protocols:

James Fadiman microdosing protocol :

Day 1: Taking a microdose
Day 2: Transition day
Day 3: Normal day
Day 4 (1): Take a microdose

Paul Stamet microdosing protocol :

Days 1-2-3-4: Take a microdose
Days 5-6-7: Breaks

CYCLE: 4 to 8 weeks
REST : 2 to 4 weeks of rest

Microdosing Institute protocol :

Day 1: Take a microdose
Day 2: Break
etc.

CYCLE: 4 to 8 weeks
REST : 2 to 4 weeks of rest

Intuitive microdosing protocol :

You can try microdosing intuitively, but always keep at least one day between microdosing days.

It is also recommended that you take at least 2-4 week breaks after a period of about 2 months of microdosing psilocybin.

When to microdose?

Most people prefer to take the microdose in the morning on an empty stomach, as the effects are better felt and it does not interfere with sleep.
