MICRODOSING

A microdose does not produce an altered psychological sensation or psychedelic effect.

A microdose is much smaller, between 5% and 10% of an active dose.

In general, it may brings a reduction in anxiety, a decrease in stress, an improvement in sleep patterns, a positive transformation of mood, a decrease in substance use, a reduction in cluster headaches, a decrease in migraines, an increase in concentration and an increase in creativity. Some users also report pain relief.

The medicinal mushrooms contained in microdose is one of the safest substances!
If the recommended dosage and frequency are followed, microdoses are safe.

Generally between 4 to 6 hours. The effect may fade slightly with the intake of food immediately after.

Current research is not able to advise on the interaction of medicinal mushrooms with prescription drugs. It is known, however, that antidepressants can significantly reduce the positive effects of microdosing. There is evidence that combining medicinal mushrooms with lithium can lead to heart problems. In combination with other recreational drugs (including alcohol), no dangerous interactions have been reported to date, but we recommend avoiding.  If in doubt, consult a doctor before starting a microdosing program.

Psilacetin is also known as O-Acetylpsilocin; that is, the O-acetylated form or ester of psilocin (4-HO-DMT) – psilocybin (4-PO-DMT) being the O-phosphorylated form. In other words, 4-AcO-DMT has the same basic structure as both psilocin and psilocybin, but with an acetoxy group bonded to its indole ring.
 
Psilacetin is considered a prodrug of psilocin, converting into the latter through metabolism by the body. Pharmacologist David Nichols even went so far as to advocate its replacement of psilocybin in psilocin research, since psilacetin is by far the easier and safer ester to synthesize.
 
There are subjective differences too. While some consider the effects of Psilacetin to be identical to those of psilocybin mushrooms, others point out differences. They may find it mellower, more forgiving, or less ego-disruptive than mushrooms. They are usually no heavy body load feeling or any digestive issues associated with consuming psilacetin.

Still, it’s important to note that naturally occurring levels of psilocybin and psilocin vary significantly even between mushrooms of the same species, so no two experiences are likely to be the same. They also tend to be accompanied by other alkaloids, such as baeocystin and norbaeocystin, which have presumed effects of their own. Psilacetin, meanwhile, has no such variability, so it ensures greater consistency for microdosing at least, even if its subjective effects are different from psilocybin mushrooms.

Given its chemical similarities to psilocin, though, we can safely assume that 4-AcO-DMT has roughly the same mechanism of action – primarily activating the 5-HT2A serotonin receptors.
